Media teleconference about Opportunity rover

There will be a media teleconference on September 1 at 12:30 pm PT (3:30 pm ET), regarding the arrival of the Opportunity rover at Endeavour crater earlier this month. Should be interesting, as it has already been seen that there is a wide variety of rock types and sizes strewn about, including ones different than any seen before in Meridiani. A geological goldmine; the scene looks more like the one at Gusev that the Spirit rover investigated. Like others have noted, it is almost like starting a whole new mission. Not bad for a rover that is now into its seventh year of an initial, nominal 90-day mission!

Given the speaker lineup, some are wondering if it will be a bit more than just another routine teleconference?
